FELLOWSHIP
Thank you for your interest in joining our fellowship!

The Agros Fellowship works for the extraordinary aims of grace by the ordinary means of grace. That means we want to see an extraordinary work of God's grace in our region: maturing and multiplying churches for the magnification of Christ's glory. But we believe the way to work for that is by devoting ourselves and our churches to the ordinary means of grace: God's Word, prayer, fellowship, ordinances. We believe it is churches who are faithfully devoted to these ordinary means of God's grace who can hope for the extraordinary aims of God's grace. And we welcome you to join us in this endeavor. There are a variety of opportunities for you and your church to participate in fellowship with us.
Agros Pulpit Supply
Are you a church with no pastor who needs help filling your pulpit? Are you a pastor with no respite who needs a rest from your pulpit? Are you a church with a vision for training the future pastors of our region? Then you can fellowship with us by requesting pulpit supply from us. This video introduces the vision for our pulpit supply teams.
The Agros Fellowship
The Agros Fellowship is the hub around which we build the rest of our fellowship opportunities. This is a fellowship of men who affirm the Agros Statement of Theological Commitments. The fellowship is composed of two groups of men. The Agros Fellows are pastors, and the Agros Apprentices are men who aspire to or desire to support pastoral ministry. Like the Apostles, the Agros Fellowship "will devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word." (Acts 6:4) We intend to accommodate busy schedules, so the Fellowship holds monthly calls to labor in prayer together. And the Fellowship holds quarterly, in-person gatherings to sharpen our convictions and competency in the ministry of the Word. These fellowship opportunities are scheduled within the Agros Fellowship, but they are advertised and open to guests on our email list.
The Agros Courses
The Agros Fellowship periodically offers ministry training courses. Typically, these are offered as "intensives." In an intensive Course, students will study material on their own time for 10 weeks, and then they will meet for three "intensive" days for the in-person class time. Only the Preaching Course cannot be taken as an intensive. A Course can be taken for credit with all the assignments, or students can audit a Course without the assignments. If taken for credit, students will receive free college- or masters-level credit from a local seminary. We invite anyone to fellowship with us in all of our Courses, except for the Preaching Course, which is reserved for men only. These Courses are scheduled within the Agros Fellowship, but they are advertised and open to guests on our email list. The Agros Internships
The highest level of commitment to fellowship is an Agros Internship. These are designed around the intern's location and availability. They can range from fifteen weeks to one year in duration. Interns receive a part-time stipend to devote 20 hours of each week to Agros training and ministry. Typically, an intern will complete an Agros Course(s) and fulfill a practicum in some ministry context of our region, such as outreach, Bible study leading, or preaching. The intent of the Internships is to immerse the intern in practical training and to support the advance of the gospel in the NE Kansas and NW Missouri region. Because of how internships are tailored to the intern's situation, these must be designed and approved in communication with the Agros Director. Click the button below to express interest!
